1. General Information

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern the purchase and use of a membership (“Membership”) for the Čarodění event (“Event”), inspired by the Ten Principles of Burning Man, organized by the Čarodění association (“Organizer”, “we”, “us”).

By purchasing a Membership, you agree to be bound by these Terms and commit to respecting them in full.

2. Membership Requirement

A valid Membership is mandatory for entry to the Event.
Entry without a Membership is not permitted under any circumstances.

Memberships are available only for purchase during a specified sales period. Late purchases are not guaranteed.

For entry to the Event, the participant must present:

  • the name associated with the Membership, and
  • the Membership number.

Each Membership may be used for entry only once.
Participants are strongly advised not to share their Membership details casually with others.

3. Eligibility and Minors

Memberships may be purchased only by individuals aged 18 years or older.

Children and minors under the age of 18 may attend the Event only when accompanied by their legal guardian, who must hold a valid purchased Membership.

Minors under 18 years of age do not require their own Membership.
However, we strongly encourage anyone purchasing a Membership and bringing a child to take this into account and choose a Membership type or contribution amount that reasonably reflects the costs of participation for multiple people.

The legal guardian assumes full responsibility for the minor’s participation, conduct, health, and safety during the Event.

4. Non-Refundable Payments

All Membership payments are final and non-refundable, regardless of:

  • personal circumstances,
  • inability to attend,
  • weather conditions,
  • changes to the program,
  • force majeure events.

By purchasing a Membership, you explicitly waive any right to a refund.

5. Membership Transfers

Memberships are non-refundable, but may be transferred to another person.

Transfers are handled entirely by the participants themselves and not through the Organizer.
The Organizer does not mediate, process, or take responsibility for Membership transfers.

Memberships may be:

  • gifted, or
  • sold only at the original purchase price or for a lower price.

Selling a Membership for profit is strictly prohibited.

Each Membership can be used for entry only once. The Organizer bears no responsibility for issues arising from duplicated, misused, or improperly transferred Memberships.

6. Event Conduct and Principles

Participants are expected to behave responsibly, respectfully, and in alignment with the principles and values of the Event.

The Organizer reserves the right to remove any participant from the Event without compensation if their behavior:

  • endangers others,
  • violates these Terms,
  • breaches local laws,
  • significantly disrupts the Event or community.

7. Survival Guide Acknowledgement

By purchasing a Membership, each participant confirms that they:

  • have read, or commit to reading, the Event’s Survival Guide thoroughly, and
  • agree to follow the guidelines, recommendations, and rules contained within it.

Failure to follow the Survival Guide may result in removal from the Event without compensation.

Participation in the Event is entirely at your own risk.

You are solely responsible for your own:

  • physical and mental health,
  • safety,
  • preparation,

The Organizer does not provide medical insurance or individual safety supervision for participants.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Organizer shall not be liable for:

  • injuries,
  • accidents,
  • illness,
  • death,
  • property damage,
  • loss or theft of personal belongings.

Participation is voluntary and undertaken with full awareness of potential risks.

10. Changes and Cancellation

The Organizer reserves the right to:

  • modify the Event program,
  • change dates, location, or format,
  • cancel the Event if necessary.

No refunds will be issued in such cases unless required by applicable law.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the country in which the Organizer is legally registered, without regard to conflict of law principles.
